An Enduring Power of Attorney is a legal document in which you appoint someone to make your financial and property decisions for you in the event that you are unable to make those decisions yourself. This document can take effect immediately once signed by you, your attorneys and your solicitor. Alternatively, it can be written so that it only comes into effect in the event that you are unable to manage your affairs.
